(In English)

A week ago I received a Klout Perk perfect for me: A free first month to try Next Issue and two extra months half price.

As you should imagine, I obviously accepted. Now there's no turning back. Next Issue is a magazine app that includes the most popular titles. It costs $9.99/mo for the Basic plan and $14.99/mo, the premium, which is not how much I spend in magazines but I would if they didn't take so much space.

For me it's worth it. These are the features that I like the most:
  • You can download the mags you want to read
  • I was surprised to find more than a year of past issues
  • It not only has fashion magazines, but also specialized publications such as National Geographic, TIME, The New Yorker, Forbes, Woman's Health, Fitness and many more.
  • You can follow your favorite ones and receive alerts when the new issues are out.
  • You can see a feed with suggestions of the most popular articles and read the ones that call your attention (eliminating the need to buy a whole magazine).

THE BEST: Since I came late to this trend of reading e-mags, I'm very surprised with all the extra content that publishing companies are including in every issue.

Fitness, for example, includes videos of how to do the recommended workout routines:

View from my phone.

• I also like the sharing options for social media (available on iPad)
DISADVANTAGES?
ISSUU, one of its main competitors, is free. (Although, ISSUU is a simple reader that doesn't includes the special content for mobile devices)

The app has very limited functions for Android mobiles compared to its functionality in the iPad. Since I read more on my phone, I get mad at this situation.

I was also thinking of how this affects the careers of communications and journalism since I figure that writing and producing content for mobile applications is already a new specialization.
Next Issue is already available in Canada and France. I'm not sure if it is available in Latin America yet.
